Each year, Old Boney Mountain Foundation for Kids will provide scholarship opportunities for individuals seeking to enroll in college, trade schools, music schools and performing arts / creative arts schools.
These scholarships are specifically for high school seniors from Ventura County who have family hardships that create financial difficulty, yet show discipline in the values set forth by the Old Boney Mountain Foundation "Inspired Youth" criteria including, strong academic excellence, a commitment to family, community service, health and Prayer. Our scholarship amounts will be determined annually based on contributions. Awards will be $500-$5000.
Applicants must hold a 2.5 GPA overall in all course work in high school or college program. Applicants must be high school seniors in the year of the award. Applicants must complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service during their senior year and write a 500-1000 word essay on the topic "What makes me an Old Boney Mountain Foundation for Kids Inspired Youth"
