Part of Old Boney Mountain Foundation for Kids' focus is sending high school and middle school aged students to summer camp. Camps such as Forest Home, Lost Canyon and Hume Lake offer Biblical education, community and an escape to focus on ones self in beautiful nature filled locations. The Bible is a part of history that is not covered in public school (separation of Church and State) However, the Bible has strong education in literature, ethics and history and is the greatest selling book in the world. Unfortunately, the only access some kids may ever have to a Bible would be through a hotel nightstand or through education. These camps offer a relaxing, fun environment to expose youth to the Bible. The week-long camps offers education, community, hiking, lake activities, field activities and more!
The current cost for Old Boney Mountain Foundation for Kids to send a kid to summer camp ranges from $520-$680.00 per kid. This covers the cost of a week at camp (covers all meals, lodging, activities and education), transportation to and from camp, a sleeping bag for each kid, and administrative fees. Check out our testimonies page to hear from kids who have attended camp in the past. Donate Now to send a kid to camp! Partial and full sponsorships are welcome! |
